RULES

All traffic laws must be followed,any violation will be grounds for DQ. Crossing over Walnut Grove Road or Germantown Road are prohibited any violation will be grounds for DQ You may go under both of these roads at each of their bridges at the Wolf River.

All team members must stay within 100 meters of each other at all times during the race.
- All racers will supply their own food and drink for the entire racing event.
- All mandatory personal gear will be carried on each racer at all times during the race. There will be random spot checks for mandatory personal gear along the course. If you lose a piece of gear, forget a piece of gear, and you do not have it at the time of the inspection, there will be a 1 hour time penalty added to your finishing time for each piece of gear missing.
- All mandatory team gear will be carried by the team at all times during the race. There will be random spot checks for mandatory team gear along the course. Same penalty assessment as loss/missing personal gear.
- You must stage all equipment and gear that you think you might need in the transition area. Once the race starts, you are not allowed to receive outside assistance or visit any vehicle for supplies or support.
- No GPSes allowed. This includes the Timex system.
- Please be professional and courteous to all racers, volunteers, spectators, and park patrons.
- Teams that decide to use the mastermap board to obtain their plotted UTM coordinates will receive a 1 hour time penalty added to their finish time.
- Spectators are not allowed to follow racers on the course. This also includes pacers. This will be considered outside assistance and the team will receive a time penalty.
- Must use the maps provided by the race organizers.
- No weapons allowed. Yes, this has to be stated.
- Cell phones are required but to be used only in case of emergency.
- No littering of any kind. Please help us keep the area clean. You may dump trash at any manned checkpoint or in the transition area. Violation of this rule will be immediate disqualification and removal from the course.
- This short list does not necessarily comprise a complete and comprehensive list of forbidden equipment and actions. Please check with the race officials if you have any questions.
- No dogs allowed to race. Yes, we have to state this also.
